Serious Business

Well here i am, off work early, sitting around reading the news, and no surprise it's just a wash with bullshit stories about the royal wedding, the birther issue, donald trump and his pet squirrel on his head. theres just nothing good in the news about anything that matters anymore. so i am laying out a whole series im going to get into on the blog and it is going to cover the 5 biggest issues facing america and the 10 biggest issues facing the world as humanity reaches a critical breaking point. now these issues are not will the donald run for president, is obama born here, and so on. but they will cover something more in depth something more meaningful. there are some very serious things going on in our world that we are not told about and that we do refuse to bring up, albeit, media, government, facebook, and so on. im talking about the real stuff the things that should be the focus of our nation individually, and the focus of all nations cohesively. as the saying goes "Think Global, Act Local."

Note: These are my lists, my opinion on the biggest problems facing the world today. You do not have to agree, some will be biased, most will be my opinion for you to de-construct, manipulate, and form into your own idea. ive been working on this for about a month, so the post will be long, and will not be like a george bush pop-up book. lots of words, little pictures, lots of dense info. think you can handle that?

These issues are my issues, that if I were controller of the world (not in a bad way not dictator like) for a few days these are the issues I would focus on and turn attention to. We have major problems here folks, impending disaster, whatever you want to call it these are the issues i view with the most severity.

Big Big Day Today

So today was huge, the birther issue has been laid to rest. we can now all breathe easy. well fuck me no we can't more word in from donal trump about how the president got into college. so here we go its time for me to lay this issue to rest and do my best to bastardize the right wing for yet another dumb fucking story they cover:

And for the most part, i like this guy. hes a family man, beautiful wife, great kids, great american story. i think he favors the right wing to much, and i think he caves in on jsut about anything. but lately hes grown a pair and is standing up for liberals, democrats, and progressives everywhere and maybe we can finally get a good agenda going. but there are people out there who hate him. and they mask it all up with false identities and false realities. these are those people:



These are the republican, right wing, christian conservatives base right here. take a long hard look. yes that ladies and gentleman is the face of the right wing. now i should point out that we all know that black people hispanics asians and so on are out there and some do favor the right wing. and i have looked on the internet for graphs and figures on black right wing voters, and i can't find a single damn thing. now i want to point out that hispanics mainly voted bush in 2000 and 2004, then in 2008 went to obama, and you can bet a majority of blacks voted for obama. and they have always voted democrat. it's just the way it is. and ive said this a million times ill say it again: NOT ALL RIGHT WINGERS ARE RACIST BUT IF YOU ARE A RACIST IN AMERICA YOU ARE MORE THAN LIKELY A RIGHT WINGER. and thats a fact. black people don't like being called a nigger, asians don't like being called gooks, hispanics don't like being called wet backs, but white people? we get called crackers and we laugh but you know the word white people hate most when you try to describe them in a negative way? RACIST. thats the word. you call any white person racist what do they do? "Oh no im not racist!" or you get "Everybody is a little racist" or "My family didn't own slaves so i can't be racist." oh please shut the fuck up. white people despise being called racist. it's our worst nightmare. somebody actually calling us out on our fuck ups. but the right wing is just that, they are racist plain and simple.

the release of the presidents birth certificate not only shuts the birthers up but it also unveils an undertone here. the right wing has been criticizing the obama administration from day one. socialist, muslim extremist, marxist, radical kenyan, anit-american, this that and other bullshit. and they figured out how to mask their hatred for him. they would focus on his policy. his spending, his taxing, all that stuff, and even though obama has ruled in the center, and some would argue from the center right during his presidency, it's still not enough for them. it's never enough. they simply don't like the guy. and it has nothing to do with policy, has nothing to do with anything except one thing for the right wing base: THE PRESIDENT IS BLACK.

now the right wing would say how dare you, that makes no difference to us, but it does. now i know there are plenty of black right wingers, but you honestly think there is one black right winger that would be welcome at the local klan easter egg hunt? or would they be welcome at the right wing bases individual homes? doubtful. go to any southern town and to any southern meeting place of historical significance and the only black people your going to see are wearing white gloves and carrying treys. the right wing base hates black people and they are to afraid to admit that. they are so ashamed of themselves, and terrified that the rest of the country will chastise them to no end that they mask their hatred for our black president under the veil of "we just don't like his policy." well i will say this: barack obama's policy could be free rent and free food for every american, and they would still hate him and say it is the worst idea ever. or if obama gave out free handjobs to everybody, or ice cream to children (not at the same time), or he could give away go karts to rednecks, or maybe even create a program "Dollars for Double Wides" for white trash and ignorant souther's to trade in the double wide for cash, no matter what he does they won't support it and it will be labeled as socialism from a black muslim who wasn't born here. it's simple folks the underlying cause of our polarized political climate is racism. it's that simple. dr. king had a dream of an equal land, were black boys and black girls lived equally along side white boys and white girls. and he got shot for that idea. obama had a vision for a better more prosperous america and he can't get shit done because of the polarized climate of washington d.c. but no matter what he does it will always be wrong and a failure because hes black. it is that simple. the right wing has tried its damnedest to make sure we all know thats not the reason, but it is the reason. this is a map of the US from the 2008 election:

so florida (full of transplant northerners), north carolina (the forever liberal state of the south), virginia (swing state with a dem gov at time of election), iowa (the state with the most common sense, gay marriage allowed) all states that would normally go red in an election, but they saw past the color thing, they saw past all the right wing lies and voted for somebody they felt was most qualified and the best choice for america. but look at the deep south (my home state of south carolina, my second home alabama, georgia, mississippi, louisiana) all went red. arizona and their whacked out world went red, and of course those zany mormons out there in utah. but the whole "heartland" of america went red. and i promise you, you go to any of those states, rebel flags are flyin, chicken is frying, trucks are sucking gas like a baby on a nipple, and most of all they don't like blacks or as refined right wingers say (and i quote numerous ass hats of the university of alabama greek system) "colored's." this country has a very very big problem right now. we are still just as racist as ever. and all these whtie people screaming about blacks and hispanics don't even have the logic to understand how they got here. loaded onto boats in africa and random islands throughout the world and shipped right into charleston south carolina and distributed like cattle to white people. if they didn't like black people so damn much then why did you bring them here? your problem that you have was created by YOU, you ignorant hee-haw watching goat fucking radicalized right wing christan conservative knuckle dragging fuck tard. it's your fault they came here. they didn't want to come here and work for you. and all these people do is bash black people like they are not human, but will jump at the opportunity to go watch the "colored's" play football, basketball, and so on. im sick of this racist shit. and i blame it on where i am from. i love the south. the community, the commendatory, the ideals that home is home and friends and family matter most have always been things i cherish in my heart, those friday nights at the football field then waffle house, those weekends in the mountains riding around jumping in that cool clear water of the river, theres nothing like the south. and that even goes for our ideology, and unfortunately the ideology here is so radicalized that there is no room for debate from the other side. the lefties, progressives, democrats, we are chum to those people. we like "fags" and "niggers" and small cars and energy efficient products, and homes that are not on wheels, and books too. and for that we are chastised, hated, and told to shut up and go home. the south is festering with racism and old timey confederate agendas. and to be honest i never see it changing. this will always be the land of fried food, big trucks, lame carnivals, illiteracy, and racism.

A little of everything today

So ive been getting lazy, and working alot. got a new car as of thursday, very excited to dump the old gas sucking suv and going for the cool mercury capri convertible. yes be jealous of me. no im just joking. anyways ive been real hit or miss and thats because i tackled alot of things that i find most important first and didnt post the way i originally promised i would. so today i am going to talk about a series of things pissing me off and then later i will have a more intellectual discussion here on the blog.

People and Things that are gradually pissing me off enough to either A) shove them in a port-o-potty and throw them off a hill or B) subject them to having to watch a continuous stream of billy mays infomercials about oxy-clean.

So here we go:

So i talked about this shit a few days ago. curbing free speech, another fun, family filled american past time that we still love, because you know fuck baseball and everything. so im sick of it folks, and it wont stop. it will never stop. you know why? we are all fucking idiots like this guy:
And we have him, and numerous other ass hats (not trying to lay it all on ya georgey) that have curbed our free speech. hell the quran burning fella in florida was arrested in dear born michigan for what he is doing. now ive said it a million times the guy is batshit crazy, he should be locked into a place like the bryce mental hospital in alabama, and i personally along with many other americans (i have been elected to be the speaker for us as i have the blog) wish that mr. terry jones would please shut the fuck up and go back to his air boat, second cousin wife, and crisco filled frying machine, and leave the quran and the rest of us alone. but to that i support his right to say it. the reason that our speech has been curbed is not because of people like this it is because of people like us who tell this guy to shut the fuck up. the more we tell people that there are limits on this right then we are held responsible for curbing their free speech. its such a gray area but rights are either unlimited and completely open ended, or they are privileged. happy speech can not be the only form of free speech, nor can hate speech be the only form of free speech. they are equal in the realm of rights. but i have figured out the best way to at least slow the hate speech, and still allow for all of us to have our rights. just when you speak, make it louder than the hate monger like terry jones.



So if you are one of these people that eat totinos at 1130 in the morning and watch the price is right till you pass again, then you have no idea who this is. but if you are a normal person, or even a not so normal person, or even if you are just one of those people, you probably have heard by now that kate middleton, the simpleton girl of the british countryside will be marrying prince william of wales this friday. a beautiful love story of two college sweethearts, from drastically different back grounds, has been nothing but the cats meow the past few months, and im sick of it. i have a few problems with this and here they are:
1. so the british monarchy is at it again. marrying another simpleton to try and prove to all of us that they are just like us, just they have fancy hats, and happen to live in a big fucking house in a place with some of the highest property value on the planet. your not like us, don;t mask yourselves, people in india, hong kong, and other assorted nations have not forgotten what the british monarchy represents.
2. the united states loves our drugs and media. we especially love when the media tells us that we somehow have something invested in this wedding. like they are our prince and future princess. get real. we don't even grant titles of nobility in this country, why do we care so much about the british monarchy getting married. we fought for independence from these people, and they have turned into one of our most trusted allies. and for that i am grateful, we live in a global world that is important. what's not important is the millions of americans taking off work to watch this shit. or wake up at unreasonable hours (i.e. 4 a.m.) to watch teh coverage of this wedding. if we are going to watch the british monarch be married, then why don't we film every person that gets married. we will make a tv network, the married channel, constant feed of vegas churches, courthouses, and other assorted places with nothing but weddings. i bet i know what the ratings would be like, jack shit compared to what this will be. i think that the people of britian should rejoice, and be so into this, and above all appreciate it. but americans? germans? brazilians? why the fuck do we care? this has no bearing on us, or anybody, except for them. let them enjoy it and start giving me real news please.

I have no idea who this is, never heard a song of theirs in my life and have no plans to. but i know they are a screamo band and thats who is next on my shit list. will someone please tell me the musical satisfaction you get from hearing some guy who wears his girlfriends pants, scream words into a microphone that you do not understand, all the while the music playing makes you want to punch small children and drive really really fast, maybe off a cliff because it sounds so bad. and like all music it creates a culture beneath it:

Like this unfortunate pack of screamo's. i have no objections to what people wear, i come from a house deep in the idea of do what the fuck you want just dont hurt people mentality. but come on. be real here. would you listen to their music and join their scene? doubtful. the music is awful, makes my ears bleed, the clothes are expensive as shit and made of shit material in a shit filled factory in china, with shitty workers. not a fan of screamo, if i have a reader here that can find the musical wonderland of screamo satisfying i would love for you to comment and explain, otherwise they are just a bunch of tight jean wearing, incoherent people who have extremely bad taste in music. i would rather spend my time (and this is a big statement here) listening to lil wayne mix tapes the rest of my life than have to hear screamo from the ass hat in the honda crv next to me with his monster energy drink hat, and purple hair. 

this next group is a special group. a group of people so fundamentally motivated, they have infiltrated our schools, our communities, our ways of life and have braiinwashed millions:


Oh yeah thats right im calling out DARE. The Drug Abuse Resistance Education. now forever i have supported MADD, mothers against drunk driving, as i see driving drunk the same as carrying a loaded shot gun everywhere, something bad is bound to happen, and when it does it could have been prevented. madd could tone down a little and not be so crazy whacked out on the scene at every turn, but the message is right. and to that so is the DARE message. trying to keep kids off drugs is a great campaign. i dont want 2nd graders tripping on lsd nor do i want 6th graders smoking pot. just not my thing. so the message is good. but the way that message is taught, and the way that message is conveyed, is totally fucked and for that DARE is next on my shit list. these people are going to schools, communities, etc and telling kids if you do drugs your life is over you are failure, the only way to save yourself is through rehab and prayer. well let me tell ya something, while that kid is learning that mom and dad are probably on either A) their 5th joint today B) rushing to the pharmacy to get a refill on xanex C) doing lines in the corporate office while swindling americans out of money or D) banging the pool guy or the maid. americans love drugs, expecially when prescribed or if it's green. we love the other drugs to but not as much as those. but really, what happens to these kids as they get older? well guess what it's the same thing that happens to all of them unless they live in a commune. they get into high school, they hang around kids who drink and smoke pot they try pot and drink a few beers, they find out the truth and theyy become pot smokers and alcohol drinkers. happens every day. happened to me. i alwasy thought drugs were bad, who didn't thats what we were told right? don't do drugs you wont liek them and your life will be over. well im alive, and i like drugs. not all drugs, but just a select few. as i said keeping children off drugs is important, but eventually these kids grow up around it it's apart of that ages culture (15-25). they go to college and there are more drugs and even more people who enjoy them, and you only meet those people out and about because the drugs make them want to go out and about and have some fun, kick back, let loose, and wash the day/week away. others sit around alone having no fun. im not saying you have to do drugs to have fun, but you can bet that most people having fun, like and do drugs of some sort. it's natural these days. DARE scares kids away, and makes them weak to whats out there. "JUST SAY NO," doesn't work anymore. not when the kids will be ridiculed for not being apart of the crowd. and then they cave in and find out what it's all about. changes everything. DARE is a failure, it sucks, the message is conveyed entirely wrong, and it's just another shit stain in this country.

you all know what this is. it's a dishwasher. made everybody's life easier when this bad boy was created. oooooo an on an off switch, lasagna crust busting power? honey we have to have it! well i don't like em. ive had a dishwasher or two in my day, but for the most part i have always lived in a house without one, and never really saw the need, or the desire for one. for one they use more water than actually washing dishes. two they have no real function in a home unless you are A) fat, lazy, and stupid and have no idea how to actually wash dishes B) in college and simply have no time for dishes what with all that pot smoking and drinking, or was that studying? C) you have 30 kids and you must be crazy to think you are washing all those fucking dishes, unless your mormon and you have 10 wives, in which case no dishwasher or D) you have become a conformist american consumer in the forever ending cycle that is american consumer culture. well most of you fall into B or D i would suppose. but this machine is yet another creation that has made life so much easier for us. that is with our time not our wallets. you spend more on energy and water with a dishwasher, as opposed to actually being brave and *GASP* washing dishes by hand. it made a simple task that should not take longer than 20 minutes, into an easy throw it in there and come back in an hour task. so while your mom waits for the dishwasher to turn off she can go blow the UPS man that brought your dads new telescope.  we got so lazy as to make something to do something so minuscule and easy just so we wouldnt have to stick our hands in dirty water, and waste our time washing dishes. stupidity folks plain and simple.

but the 2nd cousin of the dishwasher (once removed), was the real kicker, it mad eus even lazier than ever before. it made everything easier for us, and it was the driving force behind our lazy nature:

yes the tv remote, the glorious wonderful world of the remote. no more getting off the couch and changing channels, no way jose, just sit back shove that face full of boston cream pie, a bucket of kentucky fried chicken, while washing it down with a gallon of gin, because guess what master of the L-shaped sofa? you are king of that tv with that remote my friend. yes the remote control created this driving force for easy access, streamlined life style, and breeds pure laziness. now i love my remote, i couldn't imagine having to always get up and move, that would just be to much to ask. and really who has time to sit by the tv and flip through 1,000's of channels? maybe when i had basic tv that was an option but i cant go from WYFF Channel 4 to the catholic love boat network on channel 876. fuck that i need my remote. but you can't say it wasn't the start of something better, bigger, streamlined. but it ended up creating a much larger problem. americans use to not even care about WALKING 20 miles in a day to get where they were going, now we can't even walk 3 feet to the TV. how times do change.

oh my next bit here is far from my last on this tuesday night. shopping malls:

I deliver sandwiches, and my job location is literally 200 yards from the big mall here in greenville. now greenville's mall looks nothing like this, but i still hate it. i deliver there and never get tipped, except from the makeup lady in belk. but not only that. there are alwasy crying children, running around like they have no logic or common sense or even some sort of forward thinking. their parents are oblivious to their snot filled kids who are just cess pools of infection waiting to happen, and mommy and daddy sit around and shop at coach, or louis vaton, or any one of those other "have's" stores, while that fucking kid of their won't get out of my way as i deliver a sandwich to their mom, who is in the process of buying a 700 dollar purse or some stupid shit like that. shopping malls blow. they are centers for confused teenagers and adolescents, grimy left over carnies working in the food court, over priced stupid products (i,e, THE AS SEEN ON TV STORE), bad smelling places (im talking to you hollister and your 20 bottles of cologne you spray to lure brain washed teenagers into your store to buy your over priced, shit ridden clothes), and of course where you dump grandma and grandpa while you go munch on panera bread and laugh about them having no tastebuds. but in all seriousness it's a horrible place. you are vulnerable there, to infection, disease, loud children, rude stares, shitty attitudes, nasty rednecks, annoying hippsters, stupid gang-stas, and that dumb ass rent a cop ranger rick. it all makes for the most un-pleasurable experience one can have aside from being forced to have sex with joan rivers, but when ya think about it....

this is probably my biggest pet peeve. i hate this shit so much:
So when i lived alone in my studio, i left my TP like the third option. on the back of the toilet seat, as i did not have a TP roll in my bathroom. i viewed it as necessary, and quite easy. but the first option on the left is something that drives me crazy. i have no idea why people do this. when i see tp like that before i even hit the seat i change it. you know it drives you crazy too. i have traveled many a AMTRAK train, and drank many a amtrak coffee, and moving train a few cigs and a coffee or two things get to moving in my body. so yes i admit i ahve used an amtrak toilet for the purposes of making number 2. but i have even noticed the US Government (amtrak is a gv't corporation, long story short the gov bought all the trains and made amtrak the only passenger rail) puts the TP like the option in the middle. but you know the tea baggers would never do that because they hate the government. anyways if you are one of the 10 or so jackasses that insist on putting the toilet paper liek option A, i will find you and i will put that TP in it's proper place, you best be watching out!

Oh this is a big one folks, i stole this bit from a hero of mine, and a man i proclaim to be a saint, and prophet, george carlin, i have added a few tidbits here but it's been nagging me forever so lets dive right in:
People that pray to their dead loved ones for help here on earth. you know these people. they say, "oh yeah my dad he was looking out for me, helped me get that job, i prayed so hard to him, he made it all happen." what kind of whacko shit is that? like this person's dad went to god and intervened on your behalf and got you that job, or saved your ass in a car crash or some shit. i mean if everybody is praying to their loved ones to intervene with god on your behalf that must be all heaven is, the US postal service in the heavens. or is it the heavenly branch of the Make A Wish Foundation. i mean when do you get to be feed grapes from virgins in linen cloth, while laying on a cloud and taking a fucking harp lesson. you rally thing god and your dad or whoever helped you? come on i can see go dnow "yeah yeah math test tuesday get the fuck outta here me and colonel sanders have a poker game going with jabba the hut come back in two hours jack ass." come on praying to dead loved ones doesn't help. and why do we just assume all our loved ones go up there, i dont belive in up there but why do we assume they all go there? i mean some people have to go to hell, and if everybody is praying to up there to their parents, then i guess nobody is down there. but that would defeat the whole purpose of religion in the first place right? i don't know, sounds like a big farce to me.

Religion and it's place in the world:

So i want to start out by making a notice:

I do not quite know what i ad hear to. I am not an atheist, nor a christian, muslim, jew, or anything else. I would not say i am agnostic either. I would say this, I do not believe in any one super being, nor do i believe in creationism or intelligent design. I do believe that we all come from the earth, as does everything else, and that the key to sustainable life for ourselves and the future, revolves around living harmoniously with the earth. I believe in a more natural being, that feeling when you stand on  a mountain, look out, wind blowing around, mountains for as far as the eye can see, thats the only time i feel a connection to something, what i do not know but there is something there, and i know that it is not this guy:

Now this is my blog, and what i say here is my opinion, and my outlook on things. I am not forcing anybody to believe what i believe, and i sure as hell do not want to deter anyone from their faith, religious beliefs, or their beliefs in general, but it is my blog and if you don't like what i am going to be saying i suggest you leave now........ok now that those ass hats are gone lets get down to business. 

So have you ever read the bible? the quran? the torrah? well i have read the bible and the quran, and took both of them lightly, and now i reflect back and view them as fairy tales. it's all made up, it's make believe, like snow white and here bastard 7 dwarves. and in the olden days, if you were like me and didn't believe in this hocus pocus bull shit, you were burned at the steak, killed, hanged, chastised, etc. hell if you lived in rome and said theis shit you were kicked out and sent to random islands about the Medeterrainian to rot for eternity. And people love to use religion in their favor to justify their acttions:

I believe in some weird conspiracy theories out there, but i will never buy the idea that our government knew about this or that they actually did it. i despise george bush, but i know he, and his cabinet officials would have never allowed this to happen. but that is a different story for another time. the people who did this did it in the name of god. so did the people who did this:


The crusades, and the spanish inquisition both in the name of god. And those people along with numerous others, wil tell you that it was what god wanted them to do. as if god took time out of his schedule to tell these people to do this. it's bullshit and it's bad for ya folks. but we all know the atrocities that religion has brought to the world, thats easy to understand. our own non-believer machine that is public education has enforced that idea to us from day one without ever actually telling us this, but they make the outline and we fill in the blanks.

But i have a bigger problem with religion other than it's war mongering and child molestation. i have a problem with religion right here:

now i will rag on christianity more today than i will others because im surrounded by right wing christian conservatives who love to promote their moral doctrine at the expense of my valuable time. and this is why i will rag on christianity. adam and that bitch eve. so lets talk hypothetical's. lets say that creationism is real, that dinosaurs walked the earth with humans, and that we are all decedents of adam and eve. well in that case, because they had two children, cain and able, both males, then how did they reproduce? were cain and able gay together? did they adopt a child from china or africa? hwo did they create more people if only two men were left after adam and eve? how does that make any sense at all? is it to be revealed after all these years that our first ancestors were actually gay? what a blow that would give to the right wing. but seriously this is the stupidest fucking idea ever convinced. and because of it we have a population around the world of some very motivated, ignorant, and angry people. people who think they got the right answer. take the crusades, both sides believed god was on THEIR side, not the other guys. well guess what somebody's god must have been taking a harp lesson or two because one side lost. but adam and eve is the dumbest story ever told. some talking snake told them to eat the forbidden fruit (an apple) and god said don't. so god vs. the apple tree snake. what an epic battle. but ok i will buy into it for a second. say that the snake could talk. well why can't snakes talk now? what happened in the 6,000 years since earth was created with adam and eve and that snake could talk. what happened to hsi ability to do so? and what about the apple? if it was the forbidden fruit would it still nto be forbidden? dont you think int he 10 commandments or in the laws of nations it would explicitly state that apples are forbidden and if you eat them you will rot in hell for eternity instead of being able to buy an apple for 89 cents a pound at the publix? it doesn't add up folks. it makes no sense. nor does this nice little story:

They did good on this one folks. 40 days and 40 nights of rain is a real possibility, so they covered some tracks there, but didn't cover up the idea that two of every animal was loaded onto this boat with noah and his family and they all lived. so the crocodile was able to chill next to the gazzele, and the lion next to the zebra, and so on. noah also got every single insect, bug, arachnid, etc. on the boat to. and i am to believe that all these animals made it 40 days without trying to eat one another? did the bible not state that we are superior to all plants and animals? so in that cas did these animals become infused with human emotion and feeling and self awareness on this boat ride? and they all made a compact not to eat eachother until the ride was over? is that how it went down? doubtful. 

see all of these stories, and i could do more if i didn't have to work, are fairy tales folks. its a nce fairy tale but its just that a fairy tale. jesus message was nice, love all people, be kind, treat others as you like to be treated. i love that message, i celebrate jesus message every day. its a beautiful thing. but it's not a beautiful thing when people use it to create falsehoods, and lies in order to control people. religion is a form of control over people. most likely formed by old guys from an ancient primitive past that hoped to control humanity forever. it's as simple as that. and guess what? it worked. it worked flawlessly. and now i have to hear about it on tv, newspapers, and all other forms of media. it's lies folks, and if you can't see it then you shoudl read the blog more. but in all seriousness, when i became a non-believer and bought stock in evolution, and logic, it was like the weight of the world was taken off my shoulders. no more living in the shadows, no more defending an illogical argument, no more living in fear of going to hell if i do one thing wrong, it's liberating. and the best way i can describe it is like that mountain. i stand up there and feel alive, liberated, and genuinely happy, even without believing in an old white guy up in the sky. you should try it, your life would be so much easier.

JOBS JOBS JOBS on Earth Day

I have had most of the day off from work and i have been watching the news. All i hear about is the deficit, the national debt, the raising of the debt ceiling, and all that stuff. but i don't hear a single person talking about jobs. nobody wants to talk about jobs even though unemployment still hovers around 8.9. now the obama administration's efforts to create jobs in this ailing economy has been some what fruitful. not completely. we have indeed added jobs for quite a few quarters in a row now, unemployment is down from its high at one time hovering around 9.6%. so the war is being won on job creation. but it's not enough. and we keep hearing about the table scrap theory to create our jobs (i.e. tax cuts for the super rich). But that clearly has not and does not work. but it is the right wings insistence that tax cuts and reduced government spending will create job growth. you can not find a single legitimate source to say those things drive job creation. So the question is why is everybody wanting jobs and nobody is talking about how to create them? well here are the largest industries in america today;

But the industries that will surpass these the fastest will be that third one in purple and the tan one. as the baby boom generation grows older, the need for at home assisted living personnel, and assisted living nurses will grow rapidly, but thats one industry that will grow because it is necessary. but all the others are not necessarily important to future growth. but one industry can tie all these together, and it is growing, not very fast, but it is growing and one day will be much much larger. it ties in with software and computer development, ties in even with assisted living, and employment services, health care industry and all other facets of life. the answer is here:

So employment services will cover this kind of sector. finding jobs and people to work those jobs for the companies that will invest and create green jobs. 


cities like these will see huge revenue boost here in the near future. detroit has been dead for years since gm and ford left town. but new investment in green energy will bring jobs back, and ultimately bring in bigger jobs along the lines of building wind turbines, solar panes, and other green energy innovation. portland has weathered the storm that was the great recession of 2008, thanks in large part to medical marijuana and investments in green energy solutions to their power woes. downtown portland is described as a wonderland of free thinkers, clean air, and groovy environment, who couldn't get down with green energy? san Francisco will always hold the edge for a innovation think tank for the next "cool" thing. and this is no exception, a highly liberal base in the town has lead the charge to go green. boston and new york are two cities that experienced this move not because it was the smart solution but because they were forced to. big, sea side, east coast towns will always be forced to be ahead of the curve, for one reason: there fuckin big. you can't burn enough coal, oil, or anything else to supply power to all those fucking people. 16 million, not thousand, 16 MILLION people live in the new york metropolitan area, could you imagine the amount of coal per ton would have to be used to supply power to every building, car, house, office space, and so on. for that reason those people are forced to go green quickly. imagine a solar panel on every rooftop in new york or boston? surrounded by plants and such? improve air quality and energy efficiency. so these towns have already created jobs, and made their cities more environmentally friendly.
This is from the GREEN Act of 2008 from the 110th congress formally known as H.R. 6078 (110th) Bill. This bill stalled out after it was reported on in committee, and was cleared from the books because congress runs on 2 year schedule. so this was proposed by Ed Perlmutter of colorado. this is what the bill would have invested in. now we got a good bit of investment from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 that president obama passed. but not nearly of this size, this would have been intense folks. we would have seen green jobs popping up left and right up and down front and back would have set a tone for our new age of energy consumption in america. we consume more energy than anybody else in the world, thats a fact. but it's not clean, it takes more than it gives, and is causing the planet to collapse. we need more bills like this to pass, your looking at close to 800,000 jobs nation wide here on this map, that could have really worked in favor for us in combating this recession.    

But the one city that felt the recession that could really take charge in these times:
This is Detroit michigan, and at one time it was the place to be in the industrialized world. gm, ford, chrysler, and so on all based out of here. the three largest automobile makers in the world were founded, based, and produced here. and the factory lines use to look like this:

Cars, millions of them rolling off factory lines with hard working americans who were union members, received great benefits, worked hard, and built something so distinctly american, and so distinctly us, it was right, we were doing something right. honest work, good money, trust, and family was the foundation. and now after years of out sourcing, underhanded bribery, and stupid bullshit turned this into this:

So this is one example, but i don't think we need a million of these abandoned buildings to show what happened to detroit at the hands of corporate america. it is also home to a very high homicide rate, high domestic violence rates, poor schools, high unemployment, and soaring hard drug use. all of that is a direct link to corporate america screwing these people over. but now we need responsible, honest, new and up coming companies to come to detroit, and invest in the city, renovate these wastelands and toxic pits that the corporations have created, and bring jobs back. solar panel factories, wind turbines, industrial hemp manufacturing (if ever legal), and all kinds of assorted technologies resulting in the creation of nation wide green energy. the infrastructure is there folks. its in place, it needs a face lift, and maybe a new boob job but its all in place man. all we need to innovative people with a belief in the equality of all people and our dependence to live harmoniously with the earth, and you can guarantee that those people in detroit that are slammin drugs, beatin wives and kids, and so on will jump at the opportunity to work for the first time in who knows how long. 

But really all of this ties into one idea, that the earth is what matters. ive got big news for everybody, we still have not found another place we can live. humans can not sustain life anywhere else except here. im sure one day it will be possible, in my lifetime? no way. but in the present we have to be all about the earth folks. and i have always taken this quote to mean so much, not just the abolishment of all private lands, but also hwo important the earth is to us:

Education and Where I See it going

Every person in the industrialized world is trying to reform education. They want to figure out a way to make education more available, more transparent, more in depth, and most of all more student and teacher friendly. In the past 30 or so years since the creation of the US Department of Education a few things have happened to our education system that has expanded our children's ability to learn, and their ability to excel. But those numbers are so skewed and so backwards that it has created what i call a "dome of incoherence."

We hear people talk about quality teachers, higher standards, and more functional schools that are streamlined for each student to excel. But in that process of making these things happen we are leaving millions of children behind, and we are not holding the people at fault accountable. Say what you will about the USDE, pell grants have helped millions go to school, and have provided kids with no possible way of reaching a higher education to obtain that goal that our society places so highly on the totem pole of success. Now i am not advocating for the end of the USDE, i find that it provides an essential service, but it is not the answer to our problems. 

We have seen the rise of a pandemic in this country of a fictional disease. That disease is known to all of us as Attention Deficit Disorder or ADD and it's partner in crime ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). And the answer to this problem is this:

if you live on a college campus you know exactly what this is. This is adderall. and this is the most dangerous legal drug on the market. You see when a child is young and his/her parents can't stand the yammering, and active lifestyle that the child craves they take them to a doctor, and the doctor says "ive got just the thing to fix this problem." and so he prescribes this drug to shut the kid up, make them focus, and more attune to what is going on in the class room. this drug was billed as the saving grace of our children. the thing is this drug has the same ingredients as that meth that is made in that sketchy trailer about 2 miles down that dirt road in bum-fuck wherever. which brings me to this:

This is a test. it was given to 1,500 people to test their abilities in DIVERGENT THINKING. Divergent thinking is the process of receiving a question (How many uses for a paper clip can you think of? was one of them), and then taking that question and interpreting it in 100's of different ways and coming up with 100's of different answers. In short it is the ability to interpret one question as many questions and the ability to answer those questions with many answers. But what everybody is told from the time they are born is there is one answer and one answer only (A, B, C, or D). You learn from an extraordinarily early age the process of elimination on tests to help you single out that one right answer. Now to that I do admit that a question like "Who was the first president of the United States?" only has one answer. But a question like "how many uses for a paper clip can you think of" could have hundreds if not thousands of answers. Why do we single out answers. If there was only one correct answer to everything then would that not entail the idea that everything is cut-and-dry? It would mean that everything has an answer, it would negate the idea of religion and political ideology because clearly there is only one answer, not multiple. so in that case one religion is right, one ideology is right, and so on. does that sound sensible to you? Not to me. To me the drugs we force our children to take force them to find one answer, and forces them to think in a very narrow one way thought pattern. That is not healthy for society or the mind. In the test that people took for "Breakpoint and Beyond," 98% of kindergarten children scored at the genius level for divergent thinking, and as they tested those same children during their longitudinal study, they found that percentage to DECREASE as their years in the public school system INCREASED. a few things come from these statistics. One that everybody is born with this ability. Two by the time we have reached what many call "educated," we have lost this ability and now only see one answer for one question that is rigidly structured. And the help comes from these drugs that are now seeing INCREASED popularity. Parents, teachers, and all other educational facets hate when a child is independent and free thinking and views the world as their playground for ideas, thoughts, and actions. so the answer is to shove more pills in their system. you see these kids. they tweak in class, their medicine wears off and they freak out, they look like zombies. its ridiculous and most of all it's cruel and it totally devoid's children of their imagination and open mindedness. but as much as i would love to pin all of our educational problems on adderall, i can't. i feel that adderall is a part of the problem and it is certainly not the solution, but the bigger problem lies with these people:

Parents, not teachers, not drugs, not doctors, not anybody can be blamed for our failing education standards, except for the parents. Christmas and birthdays are now centered around the idea of new gadgets and toys for our kids. these kids get these devices and spend all their time with them. they become their outlet for divergent thinking. and unfortunately it rots the brain away much more rapidly than anything else. children lose essential social skills that have always helped witht he advancement of society, they become home bodies, who never want to leave the house unless they absolutely have to. Parents work all the time, they have no time for kids, they are to worried about getting that adderall RX filled, and sitting that kid in front of a TV or whatever for hours on end so they can go fuck the pool guy, scramble to pay the mortgage, and make the car payment. we as society have streamlined everything including parenthood, the most basic, and simplest of all human interactions. its in our genes folks, we naturally know how to raise children, every animal does. it's just nature at it's best. but now with all these outside interferences in media, and other outlets that basic instinct is rotting away and causing our children to fall dangerously behind in their education. parents can't raise kids any more, they can't discipline, they can't do anything because of government interference and social pressure to drug em up and sit em down because then they will learn. our teachers have not changed, they have adapted to the new world of teaching. they are teaching kids in the most stimulating time in earths history. they are teaching kids with from thousands of different lifestyles and backgrounds. you have carie-ann who drives a volvo and wear the nicest clothes and texts on her iphone all class long and lives a great life, but also in the same class you have james who lives in a house with a single mom or dad who works constantly to provide shelter and food to james while he rides the bus to school and wears hammy down clothes and eats on the school meal voucher program. so how is it fair that a teacher has to teach so many different backgrounds and kids with totally different outlooks on the world and expect them to still understand education is the great equalizer when james probably wont even go to college? you can't. our teachers have been forced to try and teach in an environment that is so out of whack because of parents that they have no choice but to stick with mundane, ignorant, and illogical methods of teaching. you see carie-ann is poised to go to a prestigious university and major in business or physiology or something like that.  while james, if he is lucky, will go to the tech school up the road and major in brick laying. now that no shot at brick layers they provide an essential service, but what if james really likes to write? or say he really likes to make music? or what about he likes to paint and draw? well the best arts schools are to expensive to get in, so he settles for the only thing affordable. while carie-ann will join a sorority and go on to med school or law school. it's not fair and it starts at home folks. when the parents of the children of this country make the effort to add fuel to their childrens learning fire then we will have a successful education system. if james mom saw that he loves to paint or whatever and made his home life revolve around the aesthetics of his desires then james very well could go to a fine arts school and pursue his dreams. but he can't because not only is that not available at home it's not available at school either. the four classes you are required to take from K-12 are the same as always English, Math, Science, History. why do we do that? who made those subjects the holiest of all subjects? why is it that art, gym, and other classes that harbor our childrens ability to think divergently are cast as "electives?" why is that you "elect" to take those classes but you are forced to take the big 4? thats not learning folks, that is forcing ideals and knowledge upon people. no less people that can not muster a credible defense to such a sophisticated idea.kids never know what they want to do when they grow up. ask any first grader and they will say a million different things, football player, fireman, police officer, teacher, and everything else. but children are aware of what they are good at, and we are aware of their abilities at very young ages. why can we not see this? why do we force kids who don't like those subjects to take them for so long? you take the big 4 from k-12 and then you get into college and even if your a say culinary major, dance major, or anything else you are still forced to take english, math, science, and history. do you rally think that a dancer or artist needs to know what the square root of 796 times 12 is? or do you think a political science major really needs to be versed in trigonometry? or what about a calculus major being versed in the crusades and the colonization of the new world? it jsut doesn't make sense that those subjects are the only ones that really matter. and until we tackle the issues of home life, and what we are forcing children to study in schools we will never reach a fully educated society. we can not keep forcing the idea that a college degree is the only thing that merits you as smart on to people. it just does not work. it discourages free thinking and hard work. and most of all it is bringing our species to it's brink.

Happy 420 To All

So unless you live in a freakin cave you know today is april 20th 2011 (aka 420, the national holiday for pot smokers everywhere). And to be honest quite possibly my favorite holiday aside from thanksgiving and christmas time and the july 4th. but anyways, what a great creation, and here are a few photos to celebrate. And now it's time for the serious part of the blog:

This is a map. A map of what? A map of the United States and the current state of medical marijuana legality. Ya know I have a great admiration for medical marijuana. it has provided us on the legalize it side of the equation to essentially re-brand ourselves as crusaders for fair and high quality medicine. and i am a firm believer that medical marijuana will be completely legal long before recreational, taxed, and regulated marijuana is legal. but it is happening folks, at a rate wwe never thought possible. alot of people from that culture wars era of the 60's passed on this idea to their children and now those childrens children are practicing and preaching these ideals. we are winning the war on drugs, we are winning in the prohibition of marijuana, we are winning in our fight for equality and what is right, and soon we will all have the chance to use in a private manner without any worry of the law coming down on us.

so i will call it right now on the blog. i think the first southern state to make this happen will me north carolina. not mississippi, north carolina. why? well its the most liberal place in the south of course. it will happen soon folks, but for now the states in green are the places that you can use medical pot. and one day it will be all green on that map. 50 years ago, hell even 10 years ago many people never thought this day would come when this became a national discussion piece. it's still hush hush inside washington d.c. but here in the real world it all the rage, and the main ages who support this cause? 18-30 year olds. that group is large, and in power. we were the group that rallied and got the president elected (the young vote was a major push for barack), and if we did it there, why not here? if you are like one of millions of american youths, and sit around smoking marijuana, having good talks, smiling faces, reading books, and trying to change the world, congratulations. but i still have one problem here. you should be in the streets, on the phone, writing letters, e-mailing, and every other form of communication you can to get in touch with your state congressmen and women, state senators, state governor, US congressmen or women, US senator, and even the president himself. you should be calling for the legalization of something so beautiful, so peaceful, so easy going, in the name of medicine,  our rights, and our equality it must be done! go to google find out who your elected officials are, and tell them to do what is right!

Now my last thing here is the constitutionality of making marijuana illegal. 

The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
-Ninth Amendment of the United States Constitution

Basically any rights we as Americans held before the creation of the constitution, are retained even if not mentioned in the constitution itself.

So the DOI gives us teh right to life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness (ill give a whole blog post to the person who can tell me what that originally was and who originally thought of it).

Numerous founding fathers grew the hemp plant for industrial uses, but George Washington even logged in his writing about not destroying the male plants to pollinate with female plants.

in 1619 in the jamestown colony of virginia, you were required, ordered by law to grow hemp, and if you didn't it carried a substantial fine, massachusets in 1631, connecticut in 1632, and the chassapeak colonies into the early 1700's.

for nearly 200 years in america you could pay your taxes with hemp.

so with all this legal precedent, the weed that won the west is still illegal, and classified as one of the worst drugs in the world. it's lies folks, we know it's lies and its time we stand up and end the lying, and get this shit legalized in all forms! call your government officials, they will listen. tell your friends, tell new friends, tell everybody you know the importance of being NORML and that it's high time we stand up and do what is not just right for this country, but what is right for us as human beings. it is about than just getting high, its about equal rights, and fair access to medicine and a the pursuit of happiness (which if you ask me can only be attained by smoking pot). happ 420 readers, now go smoke it out and eat all that shit in your cabinet.
